How to Complaint Wrong UPI Transaction?

If you are facing any issues while processing a UPI transaction, you can file a UPI wrong transaction complaint with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). To file a complaint for a wrong transaction, you can follow these easy steps:

Complaint Wrong UPI Transaction Process

  1. Visit the official website of NPCI and navigate their ‘What we do’ tab to select the ‘UPI’ option.
  2. Click the ‘Dispute Redressal Mechanism’ under the ‘UPI’ option.
  3. Scroll the page and click the ‘Transaction’ option under the ‘Complaint’ section
  4. .
  5. Select the ‘Nature of the transaction’ according to your complaint.
  6. Choose the issue as ‘Incorrectly transferred to another account’ and provide a brief comment on your issue.
  7. Enter the transaction ID, bank name, UPI ID, amount, transaction date and email ID.
  8. Provide your registered mobile number and upload a photo of your updated bank account statement.
